Teachers and students celebrate Teacher’s Day with complete joy. Teacher’s Day is a day which provides holidays from daily activities of schools, so teacher day is a special day for students.

Why is Teacher's Day Celebrated ?

On September 5, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s birth anniversary Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was the first Vice President of India. He served the nation from 1952 to 1962, and he also served as the country’s second president from 1962 to 1967.

Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan kept an incredible honour for teachers. Before coming to politics, he made every possible effort to educate students in other universities, including Calcutta University and Oxford University. I appreciated them for their work, and they had very loved by their students. He believed that this is a teacher to shape the youth who make the nation’s future. This is why they did their work with full passion and gave good rites to their students. When he became the President of our country, his students wished to celebrate their birthday each year. Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan said if his students celebrate a teacher’s day on September 5, they will be pleased. Thus, his birthday is celebrated every year as a teacher’s day.

Organizing Teacher’s Day Festival in Schools

On September 5, Teacher’s Day is celebrated with great pleasure in schools across India. Students go to dress up as their teachers and teach in little classes. It is a pleasant day for students of both junior and senior sections. On teacher day, the school’s discipline and other activities are entirely correct, and teachers see students’ leadership. In many schools, the junior class students are not behind playing the character of teachers, they play the role of being a teacher, and various competitions are also organized. Different cultural programs are also organized on teacher day. Generally, the program starts in the second period of the day. In the first period of the Morning, senior students are teaching in classes. At the same time, the teachers sit in the room of employees. Many schools are seen that after one day before the teacher’s day, many students come to school to decorate the teacher’s day again and prepare for Teacher’s Day. On Teacher’s Day, speech competitions, dance competitions, drama competitions, fancy dress competitions etc., are also organized in many schools. On the day of Teacher’s Day, many students express their love to their beloved teachers by giving grading cards, flowers and other gift items, and the teachers are also pleased to receive various types of gifts from the students.

Importance of Teacher’s day

He encourages students to improve their skills in those topics or activities they are interested in, ensuring that they do not ignore other issues or academics. A special day is known as Teacher’s Day to express honour and gratitude to teachers. It has special significance for both an ideal student and a teacher. In the end, I want to say that teacher’s day is a special day for those reputable teachers who work hard to make their students successful. Overall, the Teacher’s Day program expresses a love bond between students and teachers.
